Award/Classification: Health and Human Services (Tasmanian State Service) Award, General Stream, Band 5 Employment type: Full Time Region: North Location: This position provides high-level support and advice associated with the business and administrative functions of Oral Health Services Tasmania (OHST) Northern Region covering a broad range of areas, including planning, finance, human resources, purchasing, asset management, statistical analysis, and project management, to contribute to the effective and efficient provision of services.
The role: Provide support and advice to the Area Manager OHST on establishment management, including recruitment, orientation, contract management, and leave analysis, and provide information, support, and advice to relevant stakeholders.
Coordinate asset and facilities management including related purchasing functions within OHST, ensuring appropriate legislation and guidelines are followed.
Undertake project work, high-level analysis, and quality assurance checks on a range of business processes and service activities including, but not limited to, service performance and improvement.
Assist the Area Manager OHST in the investigation and management of incidents and consumer feedback.
Provide high-level clerical and administrative support as required on OHST business activities including the timely preparation and distribution of documents.
Participate in the development and maintenance of OHST policies and procedures and their dissemination to relevant staff.

This position is based in the northern region, however, will be predominantly based in Launceston area - in particular the Northern Dental Centre.
This role is in a multi-disciplinary dental team.
The working days for this position are Monday to Friday.
Details of Appointment: Permanent full-time day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $95,393 - $100,067 per annum.
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
