The Tasmanian State Service (TSS) is the largest employer in Tasmania, with over 28,000 employees providing services to the Tasmanian community at all levels.
To provide high level advice and assistance to the Regional Chief, particularly in relation to business strategies, resource allocation and budgetary performance.
Provide oversight of administrative support processes for the region.
Provide support to the Regional Chief in the delivery of efficient and effective strategic and business unit planning and reporting processes.

Any relevant serious criminal offence or repeated serious offences over any period, which are not mitigated by additional information, may provide grounds for declining an application for appointment.
Arson and fire setting;
Sexual offences;
Dishonesty (e.g.
theft, burglary, breaking and entering, fraud);
Deception (e.g.
obtaining an advantage by deception);
Violent crimes and crimes against the person;
Malicious damage and destruction to property;
Trafficking of narcotic substance;
Tertiary qualifications in a discipline relevant to business management, financial management or people operations would be desirable.
