Business Manager (SAO1) Provides specialised advice and support to the Executive Director on strategic, operations and corporate governance issues within the Big Rivers Region, with a particular focus on human resource, financial budgeting, procurement and business continuity. Provides leadership of Business Services team responsible for corporate support of front-line operations. To be successful, you need a well-developed knowledge of human resources processes, procedures and legislation, including the Public Sector Employment and Management Act, Enterprise Agreements and best practices in performance management and recruitment and well-developed knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting, reporting, administration and oversight of financial operations coupled with proficiency in procurement processes and policies. Additionally, the successful candidate will have proven experience in leading, supervising and coordinating teams, navigating change within a fast-paced environment, possess highly developed organisational and time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
