About the Role The primary role of the Stratquip Business Manager is to lead our team and oversee the general business success of our NSW and QLD team. The leader will lead, support, and coordinate a high caliber team across external sales, scheduling, material procurement, installation and after sales support in the hiring of our mine dewatering equipment. They are responsible for ensuring the team is efficient in all aspects of their roles and to create and sustain a safe, high-quality environment for their team.
Every day is different, offering a variety of tasks and assorted functions across the business. The ideal candidate should hold a positive can-do attitude with the ability to think outside the square and continuously add value to our brand and culture.
Some Key Responsibilities
Work with purpose to deliver world-class customer service with high quality modern equipment and an excellent team.Provide leadership and guidance to our team across sales, administration, and installation.Ensure the administration and sales teams meet all objectives and operational deadlines daily / Weekly / MonthlyProvide oversight to sales and administration (Scheduling, accounts payable and receivable functions, leads and after sales), including monthly review.Creating and driving business growth strategy. Full P&L ownership and accountability. Ownership of all operational processes across sales management, client invoicing and administrationIdentify opportunities for process improvements.Implement technology improvements and drive change adoption.Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in operations management.Ad hoc problem solving and support for the team.Criteria To be successful in this role you should possess.
A minimum of 3 years past experience in a business management roleHire industry experience is advantageousStrong leadership and people management skills, the ability to motivate team members through positive and respectful leadership and a focus on talent retention.Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
