Business Manager | Full-Time Permanent

Details: Policy and Cabinet provides advice, support and direction across the ACT Public Service on complex policy matters, incorporating a central agency strategic and coordination role in strategic planning, social and economic policy, spatial planning, regional policy and engagement, government accountability and across-government regulatory reform.
The Business Manager, Corporate Services provides strategic, operational and administrative advice to Senior Executives and their branches, and is also responsible for the overarching business, human resources (HR) and financial management across the division.
Our ideal candidate will have a proven record in establishing priorities and exercising initiative in a finance and human resources context. You will have an excellent understanding of budget processes, other financial operations within government, and HR functions to provide strategic advice to Senior Executives and other key stakeholders, helping to drive the sustainable development and long-term success of the Division. You will also have the ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with staff at all levels, and a demonstrated ability to manage teams to deliver outcomes within tight deadlines.
