An exciting opportunity is now available for a Business Manager to coordinate and lead the operations of Education & Training programs in the Cairns Region.
Responsibilities: Manage the overall business operations of the Cairns Region, planning and coordinating the day-to-day operations and business functions for all programs.Contribute to the development of Business Plans with targets, timeframes, and budgets; once approved, implement and monitor, measure, and report on operational performance.Manage and lead site compliance in line with organisational, contractual, and RTO regulatory requirements and contractual obligations.Coach, lead, and develop employees to deliver customer-centric outcomes, maintain internal communication processes, build culture, and support employees during organisational change.Work with the Performance and Growth Manager and Contract Relationships Manager to build potential new local program opportunities that demonstrate viability and sustainability for STEPS.Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, communities, and key stakeholders.The Successful Applicant: Demonstrated experience working in training and development leadership roles.Qualifications and experience of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent is advantageous.Demonstrated achievement and delivery of business plan objectives.Existing relationships and networks established within the sector, understanding the needs of stakeholders to meet and exceed their expectations.Have an effective leadership and management style that delivers positive outcomes across a diverse team through coaching and support.Applicants must also have the ability to complete a Police Check, be willing to obtain a Working with Children's Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check, have a current Driver's Licence, and have the ability to travel to attend meetings, training, or conferences outside the usual span of work hours.
