We are seeking a Business Interruption (BI) Consultant to join our expanding Claims & Risk team.
The Position:As a Business Interruption (BI) Consultant, you will work closely with the Head of BI Services to quantify financial losses and assist with negotiating and settling claims.
Your typical day will involve:
Analysing financial statements and other information; Preparing loss calculations/models; Reviewing and interpreting insurance policies; Liaising with colleagues, clients, claimants, and their insurance brokers; Writing clear and concise reports.
You will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting; At least 2-4 years' experience; Advanced Excel / financial modelling skills; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Excellent time management skills.
Desirable but not mandatory:
Experience in Forensic Accounting, Business Interruption, Loss Adjusting or Claims Preparation; Qualified or working towards CA/CPA.
