Opportunity snapshot: An exciting, Permanent opportunity has become available for a Business Intelligence and Insights Analyst. Reporting to the Manager of Business Intelligence and Reporting, Health Insurance, we are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence professional to support the delivery and optimisation of a portfolio of reports and analytical tools that enable our people to drive customer outcomes, aligning with the larger Bupa data program. Work as part of a team of data analysts and advanced analytic experts within Health Insurance to continuously improve how we manage, report on, and use data to drive performance.Contribute to and support key data reports, extracts and process improvements to ensure that the HI business can respond quickly to changing market demands.Support the Head of Business Intelligence and the Business Intelligence manager, using business intelligence capabilities to establish a best-in-class level of data quality and reporting tools.This is a hands-on role, where an experienced BI professional will be able to deliver results in an ever changing and complex environment. You will thrive in this role if you have strong attention to detail with data and have robust experience in visualising data to tell a story. What will I be doing? Supporting stakeholder Data & Analytics requirements.Support and maintain data solutions that meet the stakeholder expectations and align with the data strategy for Bupa Health Insurance.Ownership of a pipeline of work Analytics.Attention to detail and documentation of outputs to ensure best-in-class data.Highlight data issues by tracing problems from source to reporting.Maintenance of data models.Development of new reports and enhancements in PowerBI.Supporting ad-hoc analytics projects to support the Strategic Health Insights business.Requirements for the role: Experience in SAS, SSIS, Power BI and Synapse suite necessary.Experienced in data analytics, data quality, data warehousing and reporting.Strong written and verbal communication skills & ability to engage stakeholders.Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field.3+ years technical knowledge and skills across the Microsoft Data Platforms & Data Analytics.2+ Experience using Microsoft Power BI (including DAX coding).2+ years of hands-on experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data for reporting and insights.Expertise in analysing data sets, quantitative analysis and creating data visualisations.Data quality skills.Data-storytelling skills.About us: Bupa has a strategic goal of being the most customer-centric digital healthcare organisation, with the use of data as an explicit pillar of this strategy.
