Business Intelligence Analyst - Sydney

About the role
GrainCorp is currently seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst, based at our Sydney office, to identify and gather business and data requirements, and design, develop, and deliver reporting and analytics solutions to inform strategic and tactical decision-making and drive efficiencies across the business. The responsibilities of the role will include:
Exploration of existing and emerging data to isolate critical information and extract actionable insights; presentation of analysis findingsDevelopment of critical business metrics and business logicDesign, development, and delivery of interactive, visual reports in Power BI to provide transparency over critical business metrics and enable 'management by exception'Appropriate documentation of data sources, acquisition pathways, and applied business logic, such as in the calculation of reported metricsAbout your experience:
Candidates will have prior experience in a similar role and be passionate about the application of analytics and the power of visual design. Candidates will also demonstrate:
Understanding of dashboarding tools such as Power BI or TableauStrong analytical, modelling and reporting skills coupled with attention to detail and formattingExcellent communication skills with proven ability to ask the right questions to define business requirements, as well as articulate complex technical concepts to business stakeholdersReady to apply? / How do you apply?
