The Role: Business and Industry Growth Officer We are looking for a passionate, driven and community focused individual to join our Business and Industry Growth team.
What you'll be doing Proactively partner with local business and industry to provide business support services and achieve growth.
Inform, link, and support local businesses to successfully access local, State and Federal government programs and initiatives.
Undertake research to support projects and responses to business investment enquiries.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive business support to coworkers, startups, working groups, and businesses throughout Playford.
Act as a key representative for the City of Playford and the Stretton Centre at relevant industry meetings, events, conferences, and forums.
What you'll bring to the team We are looking for someone who has experience in working with small to medium enterprises, well developed research and administrative skills and a proven ability to work with a range of stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes.
In addition, you will have: Demonstrated experience working with local community, industry, government, and economic development stakeholders.
Well-developed communication and negotiation skills to support you with building relationships with our stakeholders.
A continuous improvement mindset.
Tertiary qualifications in business, management, commerce or marketing.
