Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeA$90,000.00/yr - A$140,000.00/yrBusiness Improvement Specialist - 6 Month contract!We are looking for someone who has experience in business improvement plus the ability to deal with stakeholders and initiate discussions with them.Join one of Australia's largest utilities companiesBeautiful premises in Adelaide CBD6 month full time contractThe roleWe are looking for someone who has experience in business improvement but also the ability to deal with stakeholders and initiate discussions with them.ResponsibilitiesLead problem-solving sessions as an improvement practitioner – working closely with bespoke teams to support any process improvement requirements as they arise.Use structured problem-solving techniques to clearly define the problem, reach agreement on the success criteria with the initiative sponsor, scoping of improvement initiative, sign-off from the initiative sponsor, and managing the implementation plan.Identifying and quantifying benefits for improvement initiatives (before vs after).Defining and sourcing relevant data to enable ongoing measurement and reporting on progress towards benefits realisation.Ensure delivery of both soft savings as well as quantifiable savings (KPI impact, financial impact).Independently facilitate improvement workshops.Delivering status updates and initiative completion reports to relevant stakeholders.Identify inefficient or ineffective processes across the business and support others in doing so, imparting Business Improvement knowledge.Work closely with improvement initiative participants to impart business improvement skills through practical problem solving.Facilitate training sessions with BU teams when required.Facilitate the 'learning by doing' approach through process reviews to ensure stakeholders involved understand and can apply a process improvement approach.Build a safe and open team environment where robust feedback is considered as an opportunity.Self-learning through various online forums and videos is a mandatory requirement of this role.Process FocusAbility to undertake end to end process discovery.Process workshopping and analysis with cross-functional stakeholders.Ability to articulate current state situation and collaboratively identify opportunities for designing the improved future state.Project Governance – creating, maintaining, updating, and communicating project plans, driving cross-functional project teams, and tracking each project through to completion.YouMinimum 5 years experience in business process mapping in BPMN.Experience working on ARIS/Signavio enterprise architecture platform.Excellent soft skills are very important in this role.Experience with lean/six sigma projects would be particularly beneficial.Design and deliver specific documentation and learning modules.Experience setting up process governance structure.Ability to conduct business process training and conducting current state workshops.Ability to assist with current state process mapping.Experience creating BPM operating model.Experience setting up a business process management office.Should possess excellent stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.Impart your business improvement knowledge to really make a difference.APPLY NOW - Send your CV and a cover letter to ****** + Rosch invite and encourage applications from all backgrounds of gender, disability, culture, and race.
