The Opportunity As a Business Improvement Officer in the City of Perth, you will play a critical role in managing and delivering key projects, driving operational efficiencies, and supporting long-term growth objectives within the Parking Services Alliance.
This role is responsible for identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, utilising data-driven insights, and ensuring the successful implementation of business improvement initiatives.
They will work collaboratively across teams to enhance performance, reduce costs, and ensure the delivery of measurable outcomes that align with strategic goals.
Reporting to the Alliance Manager within our Parking Services team, your responsibilities would primarily include: Undertake concept and scoping of both strategic and operational process improvement; Develop and oversee project plans, including setting objectives, deliverables, budgets, schedules, communication plans, and risk management strategies.
Monitor progress and maintain relevant project and corporate reporting documentation to ensure successful delivery within agreed scope, timeframes, and budgets; Create and facilitate process and business improvement initiatives in line with the Business Unit's strategic objectives; and Undertake research and analysis to provide advice to the leadership group on parking industry trends to inform business strategies.
About You To succeed in this role, you will possess: Formal qualification in Project Management or extensive relevant experience; Comprehensive knowledge of continuous improvement including process mapping and change management; General knowledge of contract management and procurement processes; and High level research and analytical skills including the identification of problems, assessment of alternative solutions and development of recommendations If your experience and capabilities match these criteria, we welcome your application.
