Business Growth Consultant - Defence - Secure ICT Solutions Business Development Consultant - Defence - Secure ICT Cleared Recruitment are proud to support the growth of a highly respected innovator of technology and services for the secure ICT domain thriving in tight market conditions due to understanding ever-changing challenges faced by their clients and from working closely with stakeholders in sensitive areas of Defence and Federal government.
In this newly created key role, you will be responsible for identifying growth areas and market opportunities through organic growth with existing clients and researching emerging challenges that create opportunity to partner and develop new and enduring relationships.
The role will suit someone ambitious that's looking to be a major part of an expanding organisation providing services and creating capability and technology for evolving requirements in secure ICT solutions across Cyber, Software Engineering and ICT Security projects and associated technology utilised by the Military, as well as Federal and State Government and Large Commercial entities.
Ideally you will have trusted relationships in the secure and sensitive areas of the Defence/Federal sector and come from a consulting, ICT or system integrator background, with a national and international network.
Key Responsibilities: Business Growth: Investigate and understand challenges and opportunities in the ICT systems and secure services sector, with a focus on Defence Primes, Partners, Research and Federal Government. Develop and implement strategies to develop these markets and expand the customer base. Manage Client Relationships: Understand and capture client requirements and work with technical teams to deliver value. Understand their needs and ensure services meet and exceed their expectations. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats working alongside marketing, innovation, delivery and support. Use insights to inform business development strategies and initiatives. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, program management, bid management and technical experts, to ensure a collaborative approach to client engagement and project delivery. Networking: Leverage your extensive network to generate leads and build strategic partnerships. Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance visibility and influence in the region. Suitable Candidates: Experience: Track record in consulting or business growth within the secure ICT services, products or consultancy industry, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets. Extensive experience working with Defence and Federal Government clients is essential. Relationships: Extensive network of contacts including key technical and commercial stakeholders in Defence and Federal Government agencies. Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. Knowledge: Deep understanding of the ICT and military systems landscape, including emerging trends, technologies, and threats with a specific focus on Defence and Federal Government requirements and procurement processes. Security Clearance: NV1 Security Clearance as a minimum Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
