Key Responsibilities: Lead the strategic approach and execution of multi-million-dollar proposals, tenders and bid responses. This includes:Reviewing procurement documentation, leading bid go/no go discussions, and formulating a clear plan for delivering a compelling offer. Acting as bid manager by mobilizing internal stakeholders, setting timelines and overseeing execution against the plan. Complying with the Turner & Townsend "bid to win" process and governance requirements. Facilitating discussions focused on differentiators, win themes and content to ensure high quality answers are developed. Working with Board-level directors and other functional teams to deliver tender responses through collation of information, writing tender responses directly, or supporting others to produce quality responses. Working with external organizations and partners to develop and deliver bids and proposals. Delivering a professional bid that complies with brand guidelines and clearly and succinctly communicates key messages. Providing constructive feedback or escalating concerns to senior leadership and partner organizations throughout the bid and interview process. Ensuring that all deadlines are met and that bids are submitted on time, and in the correct manner. Supporting positioning activities that support high conversion and business development activity. Examples include undertaking competitor research, market analysis or interrogating client feedback. Identifying opportunities for cross-selling through deep understanding of Turner & Townsend services and products. Supporting the preparation of other deliverables related to conversion and work winning, such as interview presentation coaching and procurement team engagement. Building bid capability and skills in the Turner & Townsend ANZ business of 1,000 professionals. Reporting on pipeline and bid conversion at Senior Leadership levels, including providing analysis and commentary on trends. Leading the bid function in ANZ; working alongside a small team of existing bid professionals. Contribute to content libraries and best practice approaches by overseeing maintenance of content and bid libraries. Support Business Development with other activities, as required. Minimum Requirements: Has the right to work and based in Australia. Minimum 8 years of experience of writing successful bid submissions. Project Management or Bid Management previous work experience. Strong MS Office Skills and IT Literacy. Proofreading skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail, including ensuring bid compliance. Organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality. Capacity to travel with occasional overnight stays. Communicate confidently and effectively, verbally and in writing and ability to foster credible collaborative relationships. Respond flexibly to the demands of the post. Team player who is willing to adapt to changing priorities of the business. Contribute openly to the team with innovations and ideas to ensure the success and development of the company. Relevant degree in an Engineering discipline or Business, Marketing, English (list not exhaustive). APMP accreditation is advantageous. Detailed knowledge and experience of the Real Estate/Infrastructure/Construction sector (an advantage but not essential). A confirmed working history that demonstrates excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities. Strong leadership skills with an ability to lead change and develop/mentor staff. Proven problem-solving ability, detailed orientation and effective inter-personal skills.
