Join the Direct Business Banking team is part of Business Banking and Agri, servicing business customers in the under $500K lending space. We work with our distribution partners in branches, digital and consumer connection as well as our partners in operations and commercial credit risk to support our existing customers to grow and to attract new customer to BENs Business Banking proposition.
As a Business Direct Consultant, in this role you will assist our micro business customers (with lending needs under $500k) with their enquiries. This could involve providing product information, helping with self-serve options or arranging for a virtual meeting with one of our Business Direct Lenders or Managers.
You will also play a role in customer calling campaigns with the objective to generate leads for new relationships.
In this role you will: Be the voice of our business across all direct to customer phone and digital interactions Support sales and business development for our Business Customer teams to support business customers in the financial needs of their business. Connect with customers to educate and discuss product and services, ensuring their interaction with our business is easy and seamless Assist customers to find lending solutions for their business needs. Some of the key capabilities and experience which will set you up for success in this role includes: Understanding of banking products and services – ideally including business banking products and services Ability to proactively undertake needs-based conversations presenting relevant solutions Strong customer service and relationship focus Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to use and operate multiple systems concurrently Experience in a fast-paced and rostered-based environment WebChat/Livechat experience desirable This is a permanent position can be based in TASMANIA and VICTORIA. Ideally, you will be in one of our Direct Banking hubs in anywhere in Australia. Hybrid ways of working are core to how we operate today with a minimum 2 days working from an office.
