Business Development Specialist

The primary purpose of this role is to sell BOC products within the allocated customer markets. This will be achieved primarily through proactive in-person sales calls to new customers that are not currently trading with BOC and selling our range of products. Revenue generation is the primary goal achieved through closing sales.

Passing on sales leads to appropriate field sales representatives for closing where appropriateAchieving agreed sales and call rate targets. Providing quotations to customers and following up to close the sale in a timely mannerPositively influencing the customer's perception of BOC primarily through strong customer focus and selling our extensive range of products to meet their needsCollecting market insight / competitive activity within Salesforce. Understanding the commercial decision-making processes and ensuring the appropriate relationships are established and fostered to generate salesComplying with BOC safety standards, processes, procedures & regulationsWhat makes you great Minimum of 2 years of field sales experienceAbility to work independently with demonstrated sales resultsExperience working with CRM platforms (SFDC preferable)Successful track record in sales and closing dealsPrevious experience with business development, outbound sales, account management, or similar role highly desirableWorking knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)Why you will love working with us At Linde, we identify ourselves with our products – either working for the technical or medical gases business.
