Description
As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of the business by identifying new opportunities and establishing relationships with potential clients. You will collaborate closely with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and operations to develop tailored solutions for clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and business success.
Key responsibilities include:
Achieving revenue targets by prospecting and acquiring new customers in line with company growth objectives.
Engaging in discovery sessions with C-level executives to understand client challenges, goals, and requirements.
Designing innovative, scalable solutions to meet client needs, leveraging the company's products and services.
Leading the proposal development process, ensuring all technical aspects and implementation plans are clearly communicated.
Negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both the client and the company.
Collaborating across departments to design and implement solutions, while adhering to internal governance processes.
Profile
To be considered for this role, you will have:
A proven track record in business development or sales, within logistics or supply chain sectors.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on customer-centric solutions.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Knowledge of supply chain-related services, warehousing, and distribution, preferably in refrigeration logistics.
Previous experience working with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, is advantageous.
