About the roleAs a Business Development Representative, you'll play a key role in identifying, engaging, and nurturing new client relationships within the Australian and Asia-Pacific markets. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your SaaS sales career within a supportive, innovative, and international team environment. This role requires some flexibility with working hours, occasional late meetings, and a lot of written communication. You'll report to and work closely with our experienced managers stationed in Singapore to launch and grow our newest office in Sydney, while collaborating with the global sales team. Joining our new Sydney office means becoming part of a pioneering team in one of the world's most exciting markets. Key responsibilitiesIdentify and prospect potential clients using inbound and outbound strategies, including email, cold calling, and LinkedIn.Assess leads for fit based on their needs, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with our offerings.Keep all prospecting activity up-to-date in Pipedrive CRM, ensuring timely follow-ups and data accuracy.Explore new industries and trends in the Asia-Pacific region to identify potential opportunities.Develop rapport with prospects, understanding their business challenges and tailoring your approach to add value.Schedule meetings and product demos for Sales Executives, facilitating a seamless handover.Work closely with Sales and Marketing to refine outreach strategies and align messaging.Contribute to regional sales campaigns and help execute strategies to engage the local market.Meet or exceed outreach, lead qualification, and meeting booking targets using sales tools and metrics.What we're looking forPrevious experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, or customer-facing roles (SaaS experience highly regarded).Familiarity with tools like Pipedrive CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other lead generation platforms.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences, including C-level executives.
