About the Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity as a Business Development Representative for Metcash who will maximize the profitable sales of products in Alice Springs and Central Australia by providing a serviced total supply solution to nominated existing key account customers and identify new markets to diversify and actively grow the total Independent Grocers Branch customer base.
The Business Development Representative will be responsibel for initiating and developing new business across all nominated areas and identify opportunities throughout the FMCG and Foodservice categories In this Role Seek out new initiatives and opportunities to develop business Build and maintain strong supplier relationships as well as managing customer relationships to maximize overall sales potential Introduce new categories to existing customers Achieve Budgeted sales & margin in line with budget document Manage contract pricing by customer and review as necessary Continuously look for ways to meet and exceed customer expectations You're Likely a Match If Sales experience and good customer service Strong communication and organisation skills Sound understanding of FMCG business Strong knowledge of the NT or Alice Springs marketplace Experience with Microsoft Excel Data Analysis skills Able to travel into remote locations Life at Metcash Experience a supportive and flexible work environment.
