About the role: The Hostplus Intermediary Distribution team are accountable for building strong, commercial and long-term relationships and partnerships with the external financial adviser community and with allied strategic businesses and partners.
Recognising the enormous value that financial advisers have in supporting the retirement outcomes of our members, we aim to make it easier for externally licensed advisers to work with Hostplus.
As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for providing high level administrative and coordination support to the team's business development function, while supporting engagement, growth, and retention of external distribution partners through servicing, supporting, fostering, and enhancing ongoing relationships across a range of intermediated distribution channels and partners.
Primary functions and key responsibilities include:
Provide expert product, system and internal process guidance and training to distribution partnersBuild and maintain relationships with intermediary distribution partners (including their support staff) by supporting the Business Development Managers in onboarding and ongoing management of adviser relationshipsProvide ongoing personalised account management and support plans for nominated distribution partner relationshipsWork with product and marketing SMEs to ensure that adviser communications, collateral, website and other artefacts are up to date and fit for purposeManage/Coordinate outgoing communications and events related to distribution partnersCoordinate the production of weekly and monthly activity and KPI reportingProvide high-level, accurate administrative support, such as and including data entry, formatting, and compiling of documents, presentations, expenses and records management and assist with distribution partner reporting, as required.Assist and support third party advisories with products, systems, and client requests and escalations.Assist BDMs and intermediary distribution team with identification and conversion of opportunities for Hostplus growthRepresent Hostplus at industry conferences, tradeshows, and other events as required.About you: We are seeking an energetic and self-driven candidate with experience and knowledge of the financial services sector, preferably intermediary distribution within the context of superannuation, wealth management or related financial services.
