Hey You!genU Employment Services provides a range of services in the community with an individualised approach for supported workers and NDIS participants with employment-related goals. This requires the identification and maintenance of customised employment opportunities that allow participants to prepare for, gain and maintain employment as they build their careers.
As the Business Development Officer you will work closely with the Business Development Manager to grow market share in viable business areas. This role will have a strong focus and be results driven to ensure the ongoing viability of Employment Services.
Your key accountabilities will be:
Build and maintain new relationships with businesses, through a range of strategies to meet growth targets for both commercial and NDIS revenue generating and for overall benefit for genU Social Enterprises and Employment Services.Promote and educate businesses on the value of social procurement.With guidance, manage a sales pipeline and ensure steady conversion from leads to customers/clients.With support, identify tenders, social procurement opportunities and contracts relevant to business needs.Assist with preparing proposals, tenders and customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term engagement.Attend industry events, and networking opportunities to generate leads or partnerships.Track business development activities and report on progress.Work with internal business managers to identify business needs.This is a full-time ongoing opportunity based in Geelong. Experience developing marketing ideas and implementation.Understanding of the NDIS Funding for supports in employment.Knowledge of employment services within the NDIS.Effective communication and influencing skills.Ability to work to KPI's and exceed targets.Ability to work autonomously, manage time and workloads effectively to business priorities.Ideally a Cert IV in Disabilities/Mental Health.The following is essential:
