We are searching for a business development manager responsible for creating significant new demand for all our products including our G.E.T Solutions for both Surface and Underground, as well as our Digital Solutions suite. Please note, this is not a leadership role, rather an individual contributor role with huge potential.
You will be a true sales hunter who will create significant demand for our cutting-edge technology solutions, gain insights into our customer's needs and excel at closing deals. With an uncapped commission scheme and opportunities to expand into new territories – the world is truly your oyster.
In this role, your responsibilities will be: Generate and manage your funnel of new business opportunities to progress through the sales cycle and successfully present both technical/commercial offerings to sites and corporate stakeholders.Developing strategic and ongoing relationships with your client base which you will service, manage and grow on an ongoing nature.Collaborate with internal teams to efficiently onboard and support new customers.Attend conferences and events to actively network and promote CR's profile in the marketplace, developing key relationships with key decision makers.Grow and develop your own personal brand in the mining technology space through the use of LinkedIn, creating and sharing content and being a brand ambassador for CR.Be an ethical ambassador for CR and CR Digital technology to grow our profile within the marketplace, whilst simultaneously working collaboratively with the broader CR business to improve client interactions.Experience and requirements: Experience in new business sales in the mining industry, preferably in mining productivity solutions.A track record of success, able to demonstrate how you have nurtured and grown your customer base.Experience in preparing complex proposals and conducting detailed commercial negotiations with the ability to close the deal.You will have exceptional collaboration, communication and relationship building skills.Experience working with Miller Heiman sales methodology highly advantageous.Willingness to undertake regular travel to remote sites as required.Proficient in the use of computer systems and CRM i.e. Dynamics365.What we offer: Radical flexibility, hybrid work.12 weeks paid parental leave for primary and non-primary carers.Net Zero - targeting Zero Carbon emissions by 2025.Ability to purchase annual leave.Your birthday off.Flexible public holidays.Limitless growth and education & training allowance options.Novated Leasing.Application and contact: Please send your application, including CV and personal letter, by creating an account in our recruitment system.
