About You To be successful we are seeking someone with strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills (retail agents, wholesale agents, monitoring organisations, State tourism operators, Local peak industry tourism bodies and more), strong written and verbal communications skills and professional personal presentation.
You will love interpreting data, building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and enjoy contributing positively to team culture.
Previous experience in domestic tourism industry is preferred.
A post-graduate qualification in a Tourism or related field is desirable.

About The Role The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and diversifying business to increase revenue, and future growth of all Journey Beyond brands within the Western Australian market.
This role is integral to the strategic goals of Journey Beyond, as you will be responsible for developing growth strategies and plans with trade partners whilst managing and retaining the current relationships.
You will also be responsible for ensuring growth of approved campaigns and activities by having an in-depth knowledge of business products and Journey Beyond's value proposition.
Through this knowledge you will be required to write business and cooperative marketing proposals to further increase revenues whilst following industry trends locally and internationally.
The role requires frequent local, regional and national travel.
