Our client's advisors work to develop a personalised grain marketing strategy for each grower.
As part of their strategic expansion plans, the group now wishes to appoint a seasoned Business Development Manager, to complement their Perth Head Office.
The Position Reporting into the General Manager, the Business Development Manager will support the grain marketing team by focusing on new client acquisition.
This will involve:
Lead generation and developing a pipeline of high quality new business opportunities using a range of sales techniquesDeveloping and executing an ongoing comprehensive business development plan for the WA grains sectorUsing CRM tools to track client interactions and pipeline progressConducting regular in-person meetings with growers and clients to establish and maintain strong, lasting relationshipsRepresenting the business at industry events, field days, conferences and networking functions - to strengthen brand visibility and develop new opportunitiesStaying updated on agricultural industry trends, market conditions, and innovations whilst sharing relevant knowledge with internal teamsRequirements: To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates ideally possess the following attributes:
A proven track record of exceeding sales targetsAn existing network in the WA agribusiness sectorExcellent communication and analytical skillsHigh levels of motivation with the ability to travel (WA/National) when requiredProduct demonstration or presentation skillsProficiency in CRM platformsOn Offer: To attract a high calibre client facing individual to this opportunity, an attractive base salary plus a fully maintained vehicle, tools of trade and incentives, will be provided.
