THE POSITION: Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this stand-alone sales position is responsible for maintaining existing business and driving business growth. You will be a high performer and experienced sales person, preferably from the electrical wholesale industry, set up to work from a home office. Maintaining existing business and securing new business is imperative in this role. Building internal and external relationships will be your strength.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Exploit all opportunities for sales growth within regions and markets. Ensure that all transactions adhere to company policy regarding selling prices, terms of payment, warranty, commissioning, and any other relevant aspects as per 'Conditions of Sale'. Ensure all quotations are recorded. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Participate in sales meetings. Pre-plan all sales visits and product demonstrations. Report all competitor activity. Analyse territory market potential. Customer problem solving. Weekly reporting. SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: Current drivers licence. Own car – Car allowance paid. Knowledge of electrical products & markets. Previous experience working in electrical/automotive industries. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
