The Role Our Mining Wear Parts team is expanding and are seeking an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join ourbusiness in Victoria.
The Business Development Manager will provide technical assistance, specialising in our crusher products, providing quality service to our clients and showcasing ourvision to maintain accelerated growth in the market,
You will be the key driver in identifying sales opportunities across the Mining, Aggregate, Recycling and Mobile Crushing industries and have a strong technical understanding across crushers and crusher wear parts.
As part of the role you will be provided with a fully maintained company vehicle and will report to our East Coast Sales Manager. You will be joining a great team culture and you will have the ability to further enhance a strong career pathway.This will also be a work from home start with the intention of having you office based soon after starting close by to your home.
Key deliverables: Identify customers that we can sell our products to and develop solid visit plan to ensure regular contact and communication with the clients in the sales area making sure they select MWP as their preferred crusher choice in the marketManage upcoming crusher projects and crusher parts specified & used.Provide deliveries to MWP wider team with update on projects by discussion and to maintain and progress projects.Identify and lead marketing activities maintaining our brand and find new opportunities.Demonstrate a good understand of sales principles.Proven track record of achieving sales budgets and business development.Advise on market trends as well as guide on stock holdings of new partsEstablish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimise the sales effort.Good organisation skills and the ability to priorities own workloadThe role will require a fair bit of travel to visit clients around the territory as requiredUndertake retrieval of customer and market information and enter MWP computer systems.Contribute to sales and cost budgetsAttend industry functions and be an active member of industry groupsWhat you'll bring to the team: At least 5 years proven working experience in a sales development and client management role within the mining or quarrying and recycling industry.Strong knowledge with fixed plant crushers with a good understanding of crusher and pump parts is a desirableRelated experience in mining operations or mining supply services companies at a leadership level and with significant commercial exposure.Ability to self-manage & build manage & advise management as to future stock & parts holdings.Good pipeline of existing customers dealt with previously is a highly desirableUnderstanding with sales pricing formulating and calculating.Excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise their workload and effectively manage their time.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are necessary.A thorough working knowledge the Microsoft office suite.Current driver's license.And then there's the extra benefits.
