About the RoleRiskified is growing our Australian team and is looking for a Business Development Manager for the ANZ region.
Riskified protects several of the largest local and global eCommerce companies and has generated incredible momentum in the Australian market.
We are looking for someone to join the Business Development team and play a key role in our Australian expansion strategy.
This is not your typical Business Development opportunity.
You will generate and nurture sales processes, prospecting Australia's largest brands by attending networking events and drive creative outreach programs that grab your prospects' attention.
You will identify a target's needs and the key decision-makers, then tailor your outreach accordingly.
More than anything, we are seeking bright, driven people to join us and help drive revenue and directly impact Riskified's growth.

What You'll Be DoingGenerate quality sales opportunities through proactive, strategic prospecting and networkingCreate and execute a multi-faceted prospecting plan through research, cold outreach focussed on in-person meetings, attending industry events, leveraging personal networks and following up on marketing-generated leadsResearch industries and companies to find the best targets and establish, develop, and nurture relationships with decision-makers through a variety of mediumsApply proven consultative sales approaches and techniques developed internally at RiskifiedIdentify prospects' key questions and pain points to help them understand the benefits of Riskified's platformWork closely with our marketing team to generate quality demand generationRepresent Riskified at industry events in Australia and New ZealandWork as part of a very supportive team with Account Executives and other company resources to win new clients for RiskifiedQualifications5+ years of B2B tech sales experience, ideally with prospecting/business development experience or in consultingExperience in working with Australia and New Zealand buying teamsExperience in payments and/or eCommerce experience is a huge plus!Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to use both in an effective and relevant way in a sales processStrong interpersonal skills, approachable, and able to build relationships with prospectsHighly professional with excellent presentation skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organizationSelf starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment with autonomyTechnical experience is a plus (our product and integrations are highly technical)Riskified is deeply committed to the principle of equal opportunity for all individuals.
