The Role: As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving revenue through both direct and partnership-based sales strategies.
You'll manage a pipeline of inbound leads, engage directly with business directors to offer tailored restructuring solutions, and build and nurture relationships with partner accounting and advisory firms to extend our reach through their client networks.
Key Responsibilities: Revenue Growth: Manage and convert inbound enquiries related to restructuring and insolvency services, focusing on client needs and effective solutions.
Dual B2B Strategy: Implement 'sell-to' and 'sell-through' strategies, engaging directly with business directors and partnering with accounting/advisory firms to reach their clients.
New Business Development: Pursue new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients and partners.
Client Follow-Up & Partner Liaison: Work closely with our 7 partners, maintaining client relationships and addressing additional needs.
Collaborate with Marketing: Align lead generation strategies with the marketing team, providing regular feedback to optimise efforts.
Pipeline & Performance Management: Track leads, manage client interactions, and meet key sales KPIs related to revenue and client engagement.
Who You Are: Experienced in B2B Sales/Business Development: You bring 5+ years of experience in a B2B sales environment, ideally in finance, accounting, or professional services.
Relationship-Oriented: Skilled at building and maintaining long-term professional relationships, both directly and through partner networks.
Knowledgeable in Accounting & Insolvency: You understand key accounting principles and are familiar with insolvency processes, enabling you to offer practical, trusted guidance.
Analytical & Organised: Able to assess client needs quickly, manage a CRM system effectively, and maintain an organised, efficient sales pipeline.
Results-Driven: Motivated by achieving targets and contributing to the firm's ambitious growth goals.
