Join a great team! We are looking to appoint a permanent BDM role into the QLD market to support the real estate sector in that state as well as WA.
The successful applicant will be responsible for building and developing our existing client base with both employers and members directly as well as leveraging our relationships with the Real Estate Institute of Queensland and the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia. The position includes travel covering metropolitan Brisbane as well as regional QLD and WA. Occasional interstate travel for business development and attendance at conferences will be required.
Reporting to the Group Executive - Marketing & Growth, you will be based in Brisbane and will help us continue to grow in the QLD and WA markets.
Key areas of responsibility include: Developing new business relationships with national agency networks and QLD/WA - based agency networks and independent agenciesBuilding on existing member and employer relationshipsBuilding on our existing relationship with the Real Estate Institutes of QLD and WA.Growing our membership and employer baseGrowing our funds under managementWorking with both employers and members directlySkills and Experience RG146 compliantMinimum 10 years' experience in the financial services industry or 10 years in the real estate industryDemonstrated experience in B2B business development and relationship managementDemonstrated ability to build and maintain effective business relationshipsExcellent diary management skillsMicrosoft Office skillsAbility to work independently but as part of a national teamExcellent communication and presentation skillsProven experience in opportunity lead generation through to conversionTertiary qualification in a science, economics or business-related disciplineRemuneration will be paid commensurate with skills and experience.
Current drivers' licence & own vehicle required. Vehicle running costs will be reimbursed.
