Business Development Manager | Pro Audio & Safety Solutions

Uplift is partnering with a global leader in audio and communication solutions who are seeking a dynamic Sales and Business Development Representative to drive the business of Public Address products/solutions across Australia.Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for reengaging past projects for product renewal, prospecting upcoming projects/sales opportunities, conducting client presentations as well as market research.The right fit will be a passionate relationship builder with an ability to grasp and present technical concepts. You will understand how to leverage data and industry patterns to devise sales strategy with a maturity to engage audiences from the warehouse to the boardroom.The RoleConduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, market trends and competitive offerings.Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach.Deliver compelling presentations, highlighting the unique features of your audio and communication solutions.Manage sales pipeline from lead generation to close.Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with a range of clients.The CandidateMinimum 5 years' experience in a Business Development role in a relevant industry.Degree in Engineering (IT & Electrical) or Business/Audio Engineering preferred but not a must.Strong presentation skills.Previous knowledge of Public Address and Evac systems.Pre-existing network within the Audio sector, consultants, vendors, distributors - highly advantageous.Preference for in-person sales and relationship management; the best sales aren't done from behind a desk.Join a market leader with over 100 years of history delivering top-tier audio and security solutions.
