About the role:
The position of Business Development Manager within the Pharmaceutical Division will play a crucial role in identifying, pursuing, and securing new independent pharmacy customers and driving the growth and to a degree retention of existing customers in collaboration with the field team.
This role will contribute not only to customer growth but also to the delivery of the Arrotex Business Development Strategy to ensure the long-term satisfaction and loyalty of pharmacy customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough market research to identify potential pharmacy customers, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Analyse data to develop targeted strategies for customer acquisition.Identify and engage with potential pharmacy customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other proactive methods.
Create a robust pipeline of leads to ensure consistent growth.Partner with Arrotex partners' (including but not limited to) API, Sigma, PAG, Amcal, Discount Drug Stores, Caremore to identify potential win-win collaborations.Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers within targeted pharmacy businesses.
Understand their needs, challenges, and goals to position the total Arrotex Value Proposition as effective solutions.Present and demonstrate the Arrotex Value Proposition in a compelling manner, showcasing their benefits and value proposition.
Tailor presentations to address specific customer needs and concerns.Management of the customer P&L to satisfy both internal (Arrotex) and external (customer) stakeholder objectives.Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and mutually beneficial contractual agreements to successfully close deals.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation.Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, legal, business analytics, finance, and customer support to align strategies, refine messaging, and enhance the overall customer experience.Monitor and report on sales metrics, market trends, and competitor activities.
Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and achieve revenue targets.Skills & Experience: Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, business development, account management or related roles.Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory requirements and market dynamics.High level of commercial / business acumen.Strong influencing and negotiation skills.Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage time effectively.Excellent skills in Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Forms, etc.Benefits & perks:
