About the role:
The position of Business Development Manager within the Pharmaceutical Division will play a crucial role in identifying, pursuing, and securing new independent pharmacy customers and driving the growth and retention of existing customers in collaboration with the field team. This role will contribute not only to customer growth but also to the delivery of the Arrotex Business Development Strategy to ensure the long-term satisfaction and loyalty of pharmacy customers.

Conduct thorough market research to identify potential pharmacy customers, market trends, and competitive landscape. Analyse data to develop targeted strategies for customer acquisition.Identify and engage with potential pharmacy customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other proactive methods. Create a robust pipeline of leads to ensure consistent growth.Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers within targeted pharmacy businesses. Understand their needs, challenges, and goals to position the total Arrotex Value Proposition as effective solutions.Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, legal, business analytics, finance, and customer support to align strategies, refine messaging, and enhance the overall customer experience.Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and mutually beneficial contractual agreements to successfully close deals. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation.Collaborate with the field team and use data-driven insights to develop strategies for customer retention, satisfaction and increasing sales. About you: Deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, encompassing both regulatory intricacies and market trends.Sharp commercial acumen, with a keen understanding of business strategy and profit generation.Compelling influencer and negotiator, able to secure win-win solutions through persuasive communication.Exceptional communicator, fostering strong relationships with diverse stakeholders through clear, engaging interactions (written, verbal, and presentational).Relationship builder, adept at establishing and nurturing connections with a broad range of individuals.Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and deliver results independently.Data-driven with strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis.Concise and impactful report writer, able to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.Proficient in utilizing Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and CRM software to enhance productivity.
