The role The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the development execution of successful product to market strategies within the Pre-engineered Special Hazards portfolio and the execution of all business development activities across a nominated region - in particular direct sales, consultant engagement, end user engagement and providing input towards marketing and product development.
The Business Development Manager will deliver products and solutions to meet customers' needs against defined revenue and growth targets and identify new business opportunities with strategic end customers in specific vertical markets such as data centers, mining, automotive, industrial, commercial and hospitality with the objective to generate profitable growth.
Key responsibilities We are looking for a customer focused Business Development Manager with the ability to provide an excellent experience to internal client and our clients in the field.
Therefore, you will:
Increase market demand for Carrier product via strong relationships with customers and end usersDevelop and maintain a working knowledge of products, services, features, solutions, and benefits for the regionSupport assigned customers in sales activities and identifying new opportunitiesWork in partnership with other Sales Representatives/Managers and the support team to achieve sales targetsUtilise a solutions sales style and recommend products and solutions that meet client requirementsMaintain and share knowledge of market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer baseResponsible for all customer interface, detailed technical proposal preparation, development program management and contract negotiationsAchieves business success consistent with Carrier competencies, policies and proceduresBuilds and maintains a performance focused sales culture that is customer centric, collaborative, adaptable and improvement focusedEstablishing and growing business relationships with key decision makersAnticipates marketplace opportunities and takes actions to ensure speed to marketRequirements: To be successful in this opportunity as a minimum you must have:
