About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at GrainCorp. As a key member of our Operations & Commercial team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business growth opportunities, increasing volumes of product collected or sold, and providing excellent customer service and support.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement growth strategies and plans to increase customer base and revenueMaintain a deep understanding of our business equipment, service, and value propositionBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase retention and secure customers under service agreementsDraft and review contracts for new and existing businessWrite business proposals and negotiate with stakeholdersResearch business opportunities and tailor sales activities to convertReport on successes and areas for improvementStay up-to-date with industry trends in Australia and overseasDevelop and implement customized equipment and service solutions to increase customer satisfactionAbout Your Experience We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of sales success, customer management, and retention. A background in Food Service, Waste, or Recycling would be highly regarded. Key skills we are looking for include:
