About the role
The Business Development Manager role is pivotal to our business operations and is based at our Sydney, Granville office.
This role is responsible for developing the NSW markets, with regular travel required.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Australasia, who is deeply committed to your success and professional development, you will also have the support of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with your Business Development peers.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse market trends and identify opportunities for growth.
Develop growth strategies that best serve objectives.
Generate leads through networking, cold calling and being visible in the market.
Prepare and successfully negotiate major tenders, bids and convert them into wins.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients and opportunities.
Work in close collaboration with the Estimating team to develop customised solutions and proposals.
Track and analyse key performance metrics, such as sales pipeline, conversion rates and revenue forecasts.
Flexibility to travel, sometimes at short notice.
About you
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to proactively pursue new business opportunities and strengthen existing relationships.
Our ideal candidate has a genuine interest in mining, construction, and access solutions and actively stays updated on industry developments.
As a confident communicator, you will be driven to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.
What you will need:
Ability to travel across designated business areas on a regular basis, at least one week per month.
Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in Business Development.
Relevant experience in the construction, mining or access solutions industries is highly advantageous.
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency/New Zealand Citizenship, essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
