Your RoleWe are now looking for a full-time Business Development Manager (NDIS) based in Brisbane, QLD.
Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, this role is responsible for expanding participant engagement and driving growth through strategic networking and community outreach. More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Cultivating relationships with community stakeholders, support coordinators, case managers, and healthcare providers to raise awareness of Metanoia Rays servicesManage and coordinate supports for existing participantsParticipating in community networking events, expos, and workshops to engage potential participantsDeveloping outreach strategies to expand the participant base and increase referralsConducting needs assessments with potential participants and families to align services with their needsCollaborating with the Support Coordination and Operations teams to support smooth onboarding and participant transitionsActing as a liaison between participants, families, and Metanoia Rays service teams to ensure participant satisfactionEstablishing and maintaining relationships with community groups and NDIS providers for referral networksEngaging participants through community programs, supporting their journey towards independenceMaintaining an outreach calendar for community event participation and reporting outcomes to managementTracking participant inquiries, lead generation, and conversion rates in internal systemsPreparing monthly reports on outreach activities and network growthAnalysing quarterly progress against KPIs and recommending improvements for outreachThe Ideal CandidateTo qualify, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Services, Marketing, Business, or a related field and a minimum of 2 years' experience in community engagement, client acquisition, or networking within the disability sector under NDIS. Strong knowledge of NDIS and disability services is also essential. Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteFamiliarity with CRM toolsExperience in building and maintaining relationships with community stakeholdersUnderstanding of participant needs assessment and alignment of servicesAbility to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure participant satisfactionAs our ideal candidate, you will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, goal-oriented and proactive approach, adaptability in a dynamic environment, and a high level of community awareness.
