Business Development Manager (Motorcycle Dealer Network & Support)This is a superb opportunity to join this high growth and high-end Motorcycle Importer/Distributor to grow their existing and new Dealership portfolios.
My client is a high-growth and successful privately owned business, working remotely (from home, Head Office is in Melbourne) with visits to customers in other parts of QLD and the NT as required. This leading Motorcycle and ATV distributor has enjoyed a solid 2024 and has exciting plans for growth in 2025 and beyond.
With both a strong existing Dealer network and lots of whitespace with regards to new business with the potential client base in this arena, this is a role that will involve both developing and expanding the relationships with the existing Dealer Network, as well as identifying business opportunities with new dealerships. From a territory perspective, you will take responsibility for Brisbane & South QLD, with the NT also coming under your remit. Travel will be to different areas of your territory as well as some trips to the Melbourne HQ. There are a good number of existing dealers based locally with scope for these relationships to be developed further by the right candidate.
Candidates can come from a range of backgrounds but must be comfortable striking a balance between new business development and existing account management. Industry-wise, any experience with Automotive or Motorcycle sales would be good, as would candidates with experience working for a distributor in these industries, with a solid grasp of how to optimise results working through distribution channels.
This role will involve travel to other states to meet existing dealerships (roughly 1 or 2 weeks every 2/3 months). We are looking for candidates who are self-managing, have a high ownership culture relating to their results, and are looking for a role where they can earn significant Quarterly and Annual Bonuses, who are target-driven, and have a passion for Sales as well as a love of motorcycles.
