As part of this role, you will be responsible for fostering and overseeing robust relationships with current and potential clients to propel business expansion within the minerals sector. Your proficiency in actively tracking market trends, comprehending industry intricacies, and pinpointing client requirements will play a vital role in discovering and leveraging new business prospects.
This permanent opportunity is situated in our Osborne Park office and is ideal for individuals with a strong enthusiasm for business development within the minerals sector.
Your Key Responsibilities Develop and present the strategic and annual business plans to the Board of Directors for approval and reporting the progress on a monthly basis.Implement the Boards' policies and strategies.Manage, motivate, develop and lead members of the Management Team.Manage resources efficiently and effectively to achieve the company's objectives.Take a leadership role in establishing and developing the company's culture and values.Ensure that there is a fit between strategy and culture, and the company's processes and structure.Develop and implement risk mitigation plans.Review current work practices across the business and operations.Ensure that there is a succession plan in place.Meet all role-specific HSE and Quality responsibilities, accountabilities and KPIs detailed in the Primero HSE Management System Manual and Quality Management Plan.What You 'Can Do' Tertiary engineering or metallurgical qualifications.Expert working knowledge of the Energy and Resources industry.Demonstrated high level understanding of environmental, compliance and other relevant legislation and compliance.Competent in MS Office.Previous Engineering and/or Project Management experience within the Minerals Study, Metallurgical and Engineering Processing Sectors.Well versed in the commercial viability (cost control, budgets, outcomes) of projects.Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to successfully communicate and liaise with people at all levels, both internal and external.Proven consulting, influencing and negotiation skills.Experience in technical sales, targeting the minerals sector.Must have a valid WA driver's license.Show leadership and authority.Adherence to policy and procedures.What we 'Can Do' for you: Competitive Compensation.Health and Wellbeing Support.Benefits & Discounts.Employee Referral Rewards.If you're looking for a career where you experience more 'Can Do', then we're the team for you.
