Fixed Term Parental Leave Cover Full Time Role Market competitive hourly rate Shopping Discounts, Free on-site Parking We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our friendly, driven Sales Team for a 12-month parental leave cover fixed term contract About Us Kingspan Water and Energy Pty Limited continues to be Australia's market leader in water storage, rainwater harvesting, wastewater treatment, and portable energy storage solutions.
Kingspan manufactures, delivers, and installs custom-made steel rainwater harvesting tanks to residential, commercial, and rural clients.
The Role The successful candidate will focus on generating revenue by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification and closing sales.
They will also attain sales by identifying, developing and managing relationships and business growth with new customers in the builder and merchants' market.
Reporting to the State Sales Manager - Victoria, your main responsibilities will be: In collaboration with the State Sales Manager - Victoria, execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Identify and close key new business opportunities.
Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments, making initial presentations and understanding account requirements.
Close sales by building rapport with potential accounts, explaining product and service capabilities, overcoming objections and preparing contracts.
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape and potential areas of growth.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and conferences to enhance our brand presence and network with potential customers.
About You: 3+ years sales experience gained in the building, construction or manufacturing industries.
Strong understanding of the residential building market in the designated territory.
Demonstrated ability to hunt for new sales opportunities.
Skilled at managing complex business relationships.
Excellent time management skills and ability to self-manage your workload.
Highly motivated to achieve OKR targets with a high standard of accountability.
Highly effective presentation and negotiation skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an adaptable communication style.
