Join our rapidly growing Commercial team at Kogan.com, an eCommerce pioneer and ASX-listed business, and take on a pivotal role as a Business Development Manager.
As part of our dynamic, fast-paced team, you'll be responsible for generating outbound leads, converting them into valuable new customers, and managing major client accounts. You'll also provide vital support to the Commercial Director with key tasks such as tender submissions, client meetings, and account management.
This exciting opportunity is perfect for candidates with a background in Construction, Electronics and/or Whitegoods products or Procurement who are eager to make an impact within a fast-paced, constantly evolving business. In this role you'll be responsible for:Oversee tasks across Kogan.com's Commercial ecosystem, including Logistics, Sales, and tender applicationsQualify and manage inbound/outbound sales inquiries, from quoting to invoicing and deliveryIdentify and implement process improvements to streamline operationsProactively drive sales and identify commercial opportunities through cold and warm outreachBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and key clientsManage day-to-day operations of large client accounts and recommend tailored solutionsCollaborate with internal departments to ensure timely, accurate deliveryPrepare regular account reports and sales forecastsResolve client issues efficiently and meet sales targets.To be successful in this role, you should be:University Degree qualified in a relevant field (Business, Commerce, Marketing etc)Commercially savvy, with demonstrated experience and success within a Sales roleHighly analytical and logical, and always looking for new areas of opportunityAble to develop strong relationships while driving solid commercial outcomes, through excellent communication and negotiation skillsHave developed exceptional time management skills, being able to effectively manage multiple projects and timelines successfullyTech savvy and able to use various IT and cloud-based tools to improve efficiency and productivityReady to challenge, be challenged, and work within our highly disruptive business modelWhy Kogan.com?Work with an incredible team to solve important challenges, helping to drive Australia and New Zealand's eCommerce futureYour role has a lot of ownership, autonomy and little red tape.
