We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in Kalgoorlie.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our high-quality rock drilling tools to various industries, including mining, construction, and quarrying.
This role involves building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities: Client Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.Product Knowledge: Gain a thorough understanding of our rock drilling tools and their applications to effectively communicate benefits and features to clients.Sales Strategy: Implement and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets and expand market share.Market Analysis: Research on competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges.Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements to close deals and secure long-term contracts.Customer Support: Provide excellent post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence through our CRM database.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with company goals and customer needs.Qualifications: Experience: Proven track record in sales, preferably in the rock drilling tools or related industry.
Experience in B2B sales and a strong understanding of the mining, construction, or quarrying sectors is advantageous.Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with rock drilling tools, equipment, and industry standards.
Technical aptitude to understand and explain complex products.Education: Relevant certifications or training in sales or the mining industry is a plus.Travel: Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.Personal Attributes: Self-motivated and target-driven with a strong work ethic.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.Ability to do cold calling on new customers.Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.
