Green Light is a growing consulting organisation known for its work in Telecommunications and System Integration Services organisations. We have a requirement with our client partner for Business Development Manager to join their team on a Permanent Basis in Melbourne and Perth.
You will have the responsibility and accountability for developing and managing a small strategic Sales Portfolio. The role is focused on getting new business and ensuring the retention of current customer relationships while exploiting exceptional sales relationship skills with effective and successful results.
Responsibilities:
Maximize existing customer relationships to initiate and instigate recurring workflow and business growth. As a strategic role, the key focus being on customer and business growth, it's imperative to help forge increased business opportunities to assist the future path. Engage with the Sales Manager to determine relationship planning, assessing customer retention and future technology strategic business investment requirements. Report to Sales Manager. Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations. Ensure all relevant and required documentation is prepared and provided in accordance with Client Group processes. PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
Maintain required NPS scores for both Client and Vendor Stakeholders. Achieve quarterly increases in new customer opportunities. Participate actively in Strategic Sales culture and initiatives. Meet target and closure metrics (TBC). Build and convert pipeline.
Requirements:
Extensive experience in selling Mobility, DAC (Networks), and general IT (Infrastructure) products. Must have managed service sales experience. Good book of contacts with Small to Medium Size Customers. Highly organized and able to work proactively under pressure. Consulting background with a customer-centric focus and diplomatic approach. Strong numeric, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to work across all levels of the organization, including upper management. Excellent documentation skills. Strong negotiation skills. Must be commercially aware, able to identify and effectively communicate commercial opportunities. Target clients: SMBs – typically up to 200 seats but do have some larger accounts. How to apply:
