To drive and lead acquisition efforts, a Business Development Manager is currently sought to join the team in either Melbourne or Brisbane. The opportunity Reporting to the Head of Acquisitions, the Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the acquisition efforts for the business across Australia and New Zealand. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for creating and nurturing a network of relationships with key stakeholders, identifying potential acquisition targets, and managing a robust pipeline of opportunities. The incumbent's ability to engage with software company owners, financial advisors, and private equity firms will be key to progressing potential deals and contributing to the company's strategic growth. Required Skills & Experience To succeed in this role, you will require a proven track record in business development/sales, with prior experience or a strong interest in direct investment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for engaging with executive-level stakeholders; building trust, developing rapport, and taking a genuine interest in 'the way things work'. The ability to articulate value proposition will be critical and prior experience with CRM systems and proficiency in leveraging technology to manage and analyse pipelines is favourable.
