Working in a culture of ownership, you will drive activity to identify and gain new business opportunities using innovative techniques to maintain a strong sales pipeline. Responsibilities include:
Generating leads and cold calling new clients. Attending sales calls to new clients. Prompt and efficient response to new client requests. Engaging in networking and profile building. You will have the support of an experienced customer service and operations team; however, you have the flexibility to compile your own quotes if desired. While the branch is based on the Gold Coast, you will have the opportunity to target business anywhere in QLD and structure your week as you see fit, with weekly CRM reporting and sales meetings to discuss pipeline and activity.
The ideal candidate will be professionally presented with strong communication and negotiation skills, the ability to network, foster relationships, and quickly become familiar with the company's service offering to translate client requirements into the best solutions. You must demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team, have the drive and passion for achieving results, and possess a proven track record of sales across the freight forwarding sector.
