Collaborate with clients to understand their current and future needs, offering personalized solutions.Research to discover new business opportunities by assessing the needs of potential customers.Actively identify and analyze new business prospects within designated key accounts.Continuously learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services.Present to clients and submit proposals to drive revenue growth for existing accounts.Ensure all relevant information is accurately entered into the CRM system for tracking and analysis. CANDIDATE EXPECTATIONS: The successful candidate must have the drive and willingness to learn a new industry and products. You'll be required to align with most of these requirements:
5+ years of new business development experienceExperience in managing accounts for large business clients, with a proven track record of building strong relationships and providing exceptional serviceExperience selling lighting products to retail fit-out contacts (must have)Strong product and industry knowledgeStrong negotiation abilitiesAppreciation of the value/importance of designated accounts, coupled with the ability to balance the needs of the organization and the client's organization THE COMPANY: Our client is a national lighting business that has decades of strong relationships with retail fit-out experience, providing interior and exterior lighting solutions to new and existing builds.
