The Business Development Manager role will play an important role in helping us grow our footprint across Australia and have substantial commercial and operational impact on business' supply chains.
You will be immersed in a vibrant and fast-paced culture, working with some brilliant individuals, and receive generous earnings with our uncapped commission scheme.The ideal candidates will have experience in the logistics and supply chain industry looking to move into the sales space or have experience in sales with a strong background in lead generation, building robust pipelines and supporting in securing new business opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Strategically identify new opportunities, developing call cycles and thoroughly qualifying leads & sales opportunitiesDevelop and maintain a multi-sector pipeline of new business opportunities and ensure ongoing management of your opportunity pipelineDeliver an exceptional sales process from lead generation to onboarding, with management support for closing complex opportunitiesEnsure cross-functional knowledge of the efm operating model, offering a truly tailored solution to each prospective customerInvolvement in the onboarding of new customers to ensure smooth transition for allWork closely and effectively with a range of departments and stakeholdersWhat we're looking for:1 - 2 years' work experience in a comparable sales role or in logistics and supply chain managementGenuine passion for Sales and curiosity of business models, processes and workflowsExperience within a fast-paced and complex business environmentProven success in sales and meeting KPI targetsAbility to work autonomously and get involved with all aspects of the businessSelf-motivated and a natural drive to be your best and reap the rewardsProblem-solving skills – willing to challenge the status quoAnalytical with a strong commercial acumenConfident communicator – written and verbalWhy join efm Logistics?Attractive remuneration scheme, with uncapped earning potential.Strong focus on regular and ongoing professional development training, enhancing skills and career progressionA dynamic and empowering culture, where we challenge each other to do it betterAn opportunity to be part of an industry leaderModern office space and technologyCompany functions and team building activities, taking the time to connect with each otherPartner with 2 charities, volunteering time to make a difference and contribute to the positive impact they are having both locally and internationally#J-18808-Ljbffr
