With service to our members at the forefront of our business, we support ongoing learning and development for our surgical workforce of more than 7,000 surgeons and 1,300 surgical trainees and Specialist International Medical Graduates.

Our Global Health Program focuses on strengthening health systems and building capacity of health workforce to improve the quality and accessibility of health, surgical treatment and post-operative care.
We work across 15 countries in the Indo-Pacific Region with the support of multiple institutional and philanthropic donors.
About the roleTo proactively identify, secure, manage and optimize institutional funding from a range of technical donors, such as the Australian Government through DFAT and other bodies and organisations.
A key objective is to create a diversified and sustainable funding base to support ongoing implementation of the RACS Global Health Strategy and Program in the Indo-Pacific region.Skills and experience Post-graduate qualification (Business, International Development or related field) supported by an extensive international or national level not-for-profit (NFP) fundraising experience.Proven effective relationship management, strategy and planningExcellent research, writing and project management skillsExperience with managing complex, donor-funded programs in the Indo-Pacific region.Extensive knowledge of DFAT accreditation and ACFID and CID assessment At our organisation, we are proud to have a positive impact on improving health outcomes in the community.
