We are currently seeking a suitably experienced, well-presented, and self-motivated salesperson who has strength in relationship building and business development and values strong customer service.The company has an enviable reputation within the industrial, hardware, mining, construction, safety, trades, food, and transport industries as a supplier who exceeds expectations and goes that extra mile for their clients.Due to the ongoing success and exponential growth of the business, they are seeking to appoint a Sales / Business Development Manager who can take ownership of this newly created position and grow their operations throughout NSW.Duties will include:Increase NSW region market shareOnsite visits and salesGenerating sales leadsInvoicing and quotingCustomer serviceProspecting new clients and market researchMarketing new product rangesRegular national sales meetingsMaintain and grow company database and input into CRM systemManagement and sales reportingReporting to the Company Director, who is based in Victoria, you will be able to work autonomously, whilst receiving strong sales support, marketing, technology, and communication, as well as being given the opportunity to progress within the company.
You will also have the support of an existing Sales Manager who is based in NSW to collaborate with.To be successful in this role, you would have a proven track record in sales and strong business acumen.
You enjoy taking ownership of your duties, be highly self-motivated, and able to lend a hand wherever needed to ensure the ongoing success of the business.Exposure and knowledge of safety products is advantageous but not essential.
Experience in dealing with tier 1 & 2 mining, construction, industrial, logistics, FMCG, distributors, and/or wholesale organisations will also be highly regarded.Must have a current driver's licence and the ability to travel intrastate as required.
