We are now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to jointhe team and drive their growth in the foodservice and distributor sectors.
Role Overview: As the Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our presence within the foodservice and distributor markets.
You will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with new and existing clients, identifying business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.
Your expertise in the food industry, along with your ability to identify market trends, will be essential to developing and executing successful sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute business development strategies for the foodservice and distributor channels.Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting and lead generation.Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.Negotiate and close deals to drive revenue growth.Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, logistics) to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity to identify potential areas for growth.Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and business development activities.Key Requirements: Proven experience in business development or sales within the foodservice and distributor channels (minimum 3 years).Strong understanding of the food industry, including trends, supply chain dynamics, and customer needs.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Desirable: Previous experience working in a similar role within the Australian food industry.Established network within the foodservice and distribution sectors.Why Join Us?
