The role… GlobalData is currently looking for an enthusiastic New Business Sales Executive in our growing APAC sales team, representing the GlobalData Healthcare Practice; (Pharmaceutical, Biotech & Medical Devices). You will be an energetic, driven and reward-motivated salesperson located in our Sydney, Australia office in a hybrid role.
What you'll be doing… Sell high-value, specialised information services to the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device and Professional Services sectorHuge sales territory encompassing the whole of ANZ & South-East Asia marketsConduct effective business development activity primarily via outbound phone combined with live online demonstrations.Achieve monthly new business targetsIdentify key prospect objectives and present a winning solution offeringWhat we look for… 2+ years of successful B2B sales experience in data, business intelligence or media subscription sales.Experience selling into the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology/Life Sciences sector desirableHunter mentality and skillset requiredProven history achieving sales targets and KPI's requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including live online demonstrationsAbility to influence and negotiate with C-suiteGood prioritization and time management skillsProficient in MS Office Suite, Salesforce or similar CRM applicationsOn offer: Generous commission scheme; OTE $160k uncappedFun but focused work environment with supportive peers and managementInternal training & supportSales support tools such as Salesforce, Gong, Contact/Email lead tools, LinkedIn LearningGlobalData believes strongly in the value of diversity and creating supportive, inclusive environments where our colleagues can succeed.
